Can Proflo+ be used on its own?
Using
Proflo+ without a product from our Proco range depends on the process that creates the wastewater.
When You Need Both (Proco + Proflo+)
If your wastewater contains liquids and water- or -solvent-based coatings such as paint, stain, lacquer, or PVA, Proflo+ will not work on its own. Because these contaminants are mixed directly into the water, you first need a Proco coagulant to force the chemicals to separate from the water. Once they are separated, Proflo+ steps in to clump those tiny pieces together into larger masses that are easy to filter out.
When You Only Need Proflo+
On the other hand, if your wastewater simply contains solid debris, such as dust or grit from a cutting process, you may only need Proflo+. Since the waste is already in a solid form, you don't need a chemical to separate it. Proflo+ can immediately grab onto those floating particles, pull them together, and get them ready for filtration.
